Year 5

As children embark on our Year 5 One Year Course in September, they enter a comprehensive preparatory phase leading up to their SATs examinations. Throughout this year, our Year 5 students will enhance their understanding of core subjects while cultivating the essential skills needed to excel in the SATs assessments. Additionally, they will develop the literacy and numeracy competencies crucial for success in secondary education.

Our courses encompass a robust curriculum that includes English, mathematics and verbal reasoning. To accommodate diverse needs, parents can select between classroom-based instruction and remote learning options, ensuring flexibility regardless of their location within the UK.

Students participate in weekly sessions lasting 2-4 hours and complemented by up to one hour of homework each evening. Each group is led by a qualified and experienced UK teacher, supported by a dedicated team of supervisors and classroom assistants who provide individualised attention.
